Prediction: Project Runway Final 3

As they say in fashion: “One day you’re in & the next you’re out!”

Season 10 of Project Runway has brought us a lot of creative competitions, a lot of meltdowns in Mood, and great takeaway lines from Tim Gunn, Michael Kors, and Dmitry (who I feel should have his own spinoff show).

Who will ever forget:

With the season winding down we are upon the final episodes that will determine which three designers will show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The contenders:

Christopher: Won four challenges

• Episode 1 “A Times Square Anniversary Party” – creating a look that represents who they are as a designer
• Episode 7 “Oh My Lord & Taylor” – creating a piece for the exclusive capsule collection by previous Project Runway designers to be sold at Lord & Taylor
• Episode 10 “I Get a Kick Out of Fashion” – creating an outfit for the Rockettes to be worn at events all-year round
• Episode 11 “It’s Fashion Baby” – creating looks for Heidi's 'Babies R Us' collection; Christopher won the girls outfit that will be sold with the rest of her collection

Dmitry: Won one challenge

• Episode 9 “It’s All About Me” – creating a print that is a reflection of who they are that will be featured with a complete look

Fabio: Won one challenge

• Episode 6 “Fix My Friend” – creating a look for a client who is in need of a makeover using their preferences (this was my least favourite challenge in Project Runway history)

Melissa: Won one challenge

• Episode 5 “It’s My Way on the Runway” – creating professional looks for womenswear

Sonjia: Won three challenges

• Episode 4 “Women on the Go” – creating a look for a woman constantly on the go which encapsulates Michael Kors collections
• Episode 8 “Starving Artist” – creating three cohesive fall looks for women
• Episode 11“It’s Fashion Baby” – creating looks for Heidi's 'Babies R Us' collection; Sonjia won the boys outfit that will be sold with the rest of her collection

My prediction for who will be in the Top Three:

    1) Christopher (PREDICTION: Winner of the season)

      2) Dmitry

        3) Melissa


My favourite look from this season, although he did not make it to the final five, was from Ven for the unconventional Dylan’s Candy Bar challenge:
