Best Dressed: 2014 Met Gala Edition | Cara Delevingne, Olivia Munn, & More

Last night was the night for those in the fashion industry to get their own red carpet to walk down and for once all eyes are on them to see who is best dressed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala, in celebration of Charles James, the American couturier whose work will be on display as part of the  exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion, at the newly renovated Anna Wintour Costume Center.

There comes a certain precedence with the gala each year and although last year's very successful PUNK: Chaos to Couture theme allowed the fashion elite to have fun in couture costumes, this year we were able to see more of an individual expression with each fashion icon and star. How one picks a best dressed at such an event is a bit overwhelming however these are my choices for the best dressed last night.

The 2014 Grammy Awards Best Dressed: Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Chrissy Teigen

Couples got married, Katy Perry stole Lady Gaga's white horse from last year and painted it black, and Lorde was just as quirky as we all expected her to be, the 2014 Grammy Awards took place last night and good thing they lifted that dress code from last year because musicians took risks and some paid off.

My choice for best dressed goes to, in no particular order, Taylor Swift in a Gucci dream, Chrissy Teigen in a Johanna Johnson gown, and Beyoncé's performance ensemble which was comprised of Saint Laurent tights, a custom bra, a Nicholas de Carle bodysuit, Stuart Weitzman shoes and Jennifer Fisher earrings.

The 2014 SAG Awards Best Dressed: Katrina Bowden

No stranger to this blog, 30 Rock's Katrina Bowden has landed her number one as my pick for best dressed at this weekend's SAG Awards, wearing a beautiful Badgley Mischka number. The award ceremony celebrated its 20th year and it was evident in every aspect of the show, from the opening presentation to the acceptance speeches, that the SAG-AFTRA union is extremely important to the industry and to be honest it is my favourite awards ceremony because I feel that it is the most organic. Every attendee always seems so at ease and respectful of their fellow actors. This year the competition was fierce so get to the theater if you haven't seen the amazing films that have been nominated.

The AMAs Best Dressed: Kendall Jenner & Naya Rivera

The 2013 AMAs aired last night and besides the singing kitten that basically brought Buzzfeed onto our TV screens and the white horse Lady Gaga rode in on, the show was rather tame and gasp 'normal'.

Amongst the sea of white - TREND ALERT: stark white everything - two stood out as best dressed, miss Kendall Jenner and her Me&Lex-esq necklace and Naya Rivera in Michael Kors.

The Emmys Best Dressed: Kate Mara

Not exactly an easy task by any means but there must always be one winner for best dressed of every award show. Last night we kicked off the season with the 65th Annual Primetime Emmys hosted at the Nokia Theater in L.A. and Mr Neil Patrick Harris did not disappoint in his role as host. Most made safe choices on the red carpet however a few actresses took chances and the rewards paid off.

SAG Awards Best Dressed Edition: Katrina Bowden

On the road to the Oscars we stopped last night to honour both TV and film actors and actresses at the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The award ceremony may be more laid back than they others but that doesn't mean anyone skimped out on the outfits.

My award for Best Dressed at the 2013 SAG Awards goes to Katrina Bowden. Although Modern Family beat out 30 Rock for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Katrina was a top contender for best dressed on many lists thanks to her stylist and Badgley Mischka.

I know I usually don't give props to the Golden boys of Hollywood but I had no choice after seeing Mr. Bradley Cooper in Tom Ford last night. I believe he deserves an award for his role in Silver Linings Playbook but in the meantime he will just have to settle for an award from this girl right here!

Golden Globe Awards Best Dressed Edition: Kate Hudson

The 2013 Golden Globes were held last Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Hollywood.The award ceremony where the Hollywood Foreign Press honours the best of TV and film delivered a lot of laughs thanks to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, but it also delivered so many fashion hits, misses, and just plain "WTF" moments.

My award for the Best Dressed of the 2013 Golden Globes goes to Kate Hudson; who presented, alongside Bradley Cooper, the Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture to Christopher Waltz for his performance in Django Unchained.
